Sofia Lynggaard Normann’s debut fine jewellery collections are inspired by the vibrant world beneath the surface of the ocean. A world where light brings colours to life. A world that is always in motion. Her creative universe draws on her experience diving into the deep blue depths off the coast of Australia. A place forever close to her heart.
Craftsmanship in every detail
Sofia embraces inspiration from nature and playfully experiments with different expressions, shapes, and techniques during the design process. Each of her fine jewellery designs is founded on a delicate balance of artistic and technical design solutions, harmonizing comfort, aesthetics, and playful details.
The Under the Sea bangles, earrings, and rings are designed as infinite, organic shapes crafted from 18 karat yellow gold, whereas The Young Fish Collection captures the essence of ocean creatures in playful designs with whimsical details. The Young Fish ring features an Akoya pearl that bounces with a gentle touch, while The Young Fish earrings can be styled with a variety of interchangeable pendants, allowing for a diverse range of personal expressions.
In the big blue, a diver’s breath becomes a rhythmic melody, inviting a deeper focus on the uniqueness of nature. Therefore, the Young Fish universe also serves as a reminder to stay present, immerse yourself in the details, and discover the little fairy tales around you. At each visit beneath the surface, nature looks different, and each time you discover something new.

As the daughter of Charlotte Lynggaard and the eldest granddaughter of founder Ole Lynggaard, Sofia Lynggaard Normann (b. 1996) is the third generation of fine jewellery designers at OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN.

CRAFTSMANSHIP
Creating these two new collections has pushed the limits of the craftsman processes and brought new techniques into play. The two new collections are the result of a close collaboration between designer Sofia Lynggaard Normann and the goldsmiths in OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN’s artisan workshop.
Playful details, unique features, and elegant comfortability make these pieces stand out. For instance, the Claw pendant features an advanced combination of four different types of surfaces: satinized, brushed, sandblasted, and polished – flow and direction is very distinct and defined by Sofia.
