On a blue-skied, sunshine-filled day at Bondi in Sydney, Sofia welcomed friends and invited guests at the iconic restaurant Sean's Bondi. A atmospheric venue overlooking the waves at Bondi Beach. Friends of the brand were invited to an intimate lunch to celebrate the launch of Sofia's debut collections, Young Fish and Under the Sea. As the eldest grandchild of Ole Lynggaard and the daughter of Charlotte Lynggaard, Sofia is the third generation of designers at OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN.

Sydney holds a special place in Sofia's heart. Therefore, it was no coincidence that the launch was set to kick off in the vibrant harbor city under the warm sunshine. It was while living in Australia several years ago that the inspiration for her jewellery designs began to flourish. Her gap year in Sydney brought a creative awakening, a passion for diving, and an affinity that would prove to be enduring. Along the coastline of Australia and in the blue depths, she found the inspiration for her fine jewellery designs.

The two collections, Young Fish and Under the Sea, are inspired by the universe beneath the surface of the ocean, its organic movements, and the marine life it. The Under the Sea earrings, bangles, and rings consist of eternal, organic forms characterized by lightness and wavy silhouettes, while The Young Fish Collection recreates motifs from the sea as playful designs with whimsical details. Each piece of jewellery is brought to life by outstanding craftsmanship that merges creative design and innovative techniques.

Sofia's creative universe is characterized by organic shapes, whimsical details, a touch of color, and poetic stories. As was the event at Bondi. The tables were adorned with maritime details and decorations designed by Sofia herself. Both indoors and outdoors, the guests mingled dressed in delicate colours and golden details. The guests included Nadia Fairfax, Tash Sefton, and Gabrielle Penfold, all dressed in their favourites from the new collections, sparkling in the sunlight.
